Ali G. is a white, british guy who dresses up like a black rapper/gangster guy and then comes over to the USA and goofs on all these high profile people - actually interviews them (Donald Trump, Ralph Nader, etc.) He has his own little lingo going like gangster talk mixed in with very poor grammer and acts like his IQ is about 60. The thing is all these people get thrown off cause they're not sure if he's for real. Andy Rooney did walk out on him - very high strung gent. He also does 2 other characters perfectly - Bruno, the gay fashion guy from Austria and Broak, this dorky immigrant guy from Kazakhstan. This guys SO inappropriateI can't even write down what he does. The thing is all his characters throw off everybody with him not breaking out of character - he's a little like the modern Angy Kaufman. It's totally off the wall. You must rent it (forget his movie, this is the 1st season HBO DVD set I'm talking about) Everybody who's watched it over here has gone out and bought it. Have never laughed so hard. He might have a website (or check the HBO web site)

...Sorry, I was away watching "Charlie Rose" (the thinking man's Larry King) with some brainiac dude on predicting how deep of a barrel of S*** we're in with Iraq, economy, etc.I'm one of those guys that watches information shows (what did Gordon Gecko - Michael Douglas - say in "Wall Street"? Something like " The most important commodity I know of in this world is Information") Have NO IDEA about any sitcom shows but HBO stuff like "Da Ali G. show" and "Sex and the City" was good. So heavy information and music stuff / movies (good ones) - that's it. I see 3 new shots - must investigate. BTW, insult you? Why would I do that? I just think comparing those 2 shots was ridiculous - so ridiculous that I had to say something. Anyway, don't worry about it - Things move in mysterious ways........
