Excellent shot Larry... Love the detail of the gator... Great texture and colors... It is a shame you could not get it complete... :( Nevertheless it is great...

The clarity on that is so very good, the scales look like armor. I can see how if you weren't paying attention you might not see one of these.

Of course he is for real, he was sunning himself, he was only maybe 4 ft long, on a log (OUTSIDE our boat), so I felt quite safe. Not nearly as treacheous looking as some of the animals (snakes) you show some of the time! Oh, and he was pointed away from me as well........:-))
