Randy, I really like what you did with the photo. The tones are great!

Hi Tiffany, I came across this nice self portrait of yourself but did notice that it's a little overexposed which somewhat caused lack of definition of the face and loss of depth. I see you welcome suggestions and I took it to PaintShopPro 8 to try my hand at another version-here is the result.

Hi Tiffany. You have made a good job of this self portrait, seing it is the first attempt. I would like to see one with a happier mood, as you look so serious in this one!LOL

BTW TIffany - I LOVE the color version... but both are great - i think it depends on the mood you're in when you post? :) I think the photo is wonderful either way, you are beautiful.

Lovely self portrait - the clarity of the eyes is amazing. Very well shot! Thanks for your comments elsewhere. :)

I used PS on this one and PSP on the b&w. I'm starting to get the hang of a few things with PS. Thanks!

Oooh! I think it's really pretty in color!! Did you make adjustments in PS or PSP?? Just curious.

Ok Mel, I adjusted the color version so it's not so overexposed just for you :). I prefer the b&w over the color ...

Hi Tiffany, Nice portrait shot here. For me, I would have 'healed', PS CS, the spot on the upper lip (middle), shapened the eyes (only), and smoothed out the skin a bit more (G Blur). In addition, I find the upper two corners distracting. They could be darkened or blurred (well something like that). My 2 cents worth. I look forward to seeing more portraits of yours. Cheers! Sam

Mel, the color version is very overexposed and washed out. I'll play around with it and see if I can get it looking ok ... Thanks!

Very nice, Tiff! I like the natural light. I think maybe adding a little clarity or contrast would help it to stand out a little more... but really nice! I am curious what the color version looks like ;o)

Although natural light... find that it needs to be softened...

beautiful tiff! this is my fave portrait of you. i wish there was a little more focus on your eyes, but i know how hard it is to get the focus right on SP's ;)

love the B&W too
