I'm glad you like this photo; and that makeup picture, I could teach you! Really you just need a good red lipstick, a very shiny clear gloss, and a couple make-up brushes and you could do it no worries ;)

Rule #1 to disturbing imagery: lighting angles.
If you light from below instead of above or level, it reinforces that feeling. Try it sometime. ;)
