About A shot taken on Wednesday ~ our rearranged 'day off'. The weather was amazing for the time of year and we decided to head for Seaton ~ a little seaside town we hadn't been to in quite a while, just a 50 minute drive from home. It was great fun walking along the shingle, dodging the incoming waves! It was breezy, but so bright and clear.

As you look at the picture you can see a black finger of rock sticking out into the sea ~ that's where the river Ax flows into the English Channel.

Thanks for looking and for your generous comments!

Best regards to all,

Chris

Hi Chris,

this looks chilly, bet the wind was blowing a gale. I like the ;sweep' of the bay, but the dark grad in the sky and the general darkness gives the whole image a coldness.

The white notice does need cloning out too ;-)

Good work though, its nice to get out for a while on a winter beach. I might do the same tomorrow morning.

Keith

Excellent composition, Chris! I like the curve of the shoreline, and the great contrasts in colours.

Hello Chris, glad to see you've had some nice lighting and cloud conditions recently - it's been fairly overcast for some time now over on my side, but you still make the best of it.

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, very moody seascape; mostly induced by the tones and the sky. Very solid shot, well balanced and all. Good stuff, Chris, As usual...:)

Cheers,

Hugo

Hm.. :-/ ehhhhhhhh....
The clifs and sea are wonderfull...so majestic!
My thought went to the tsunami... thought that...if there was a tsunami here..then what?? The water would rush against the clifs... ppffee... what a strong image.
Brrrrr...
- but..because of the Ax there would be much water in the English Channel.. :-/
OK...enough of this...
A wonderfull shot...enjoyed it..

Hugs
Merete
