Dottie, I had to explain the word, Entropy, to someone today. So I had to look it up and get Webster's definition. Remembering your joke about South Dakotian I thought I'd share....

4. The tendency for all matter and energy in the universe to evolve toward a state of inert uniformity.

5. Inevitable and steady deterioration of a system or society.

Definitions 1,2 and 3 are all deep scientific definitions.
