About Had a trip over to Damme (little medieval town, a former seaport, now 10km inland) saterday, not a lot of people there, but a mountain-bikerace prevented us from going round the town on the ramparts .. Nevertheless brought some good shots home ..

IR with Sony F717 in nightshot mode, and filters Hoya R72, ND8 and ND4 .. looking great no ?

Lovely IR Peter, works really well here with the water and sky contrasting against the trees.

Thx for your comment Dirck.
I use ND filters to avoid overexposure of the IR shots, taken in nightshot mode .. as Sony has limited the shutterspeed to 1/60"..

Wonderful IR scene, Peter - as if made for it! This photo has a lot of impact, not just from the IR filtering, but from a great composition as well - I like the way the lines lead the eye to the windmill, and also the way you included a bit of the near bank of the canal, which anchors the shot nicely! Just out of curiosity, why do you use the ND filters with the R72?
