About Viewed from my room. Totally darkened room, +2/3 stop overexposed, with CPL filter. Looks like as if I took a shoot and overlay it on the window picture....

Well, fortunately [or unfortunately? LOL] this hotel is some blocks away from the building so I still can capture the entire block.. (you can see it on the #3... )

Last week when I was in Chicago, I was in the 16th floor of a 17 floor hotel becuse I asked for a high up floor. The John Hancock Center was right outside my window across the street. It was so high that I couldn't see the top of it from out my window. I could watch what everyone was doing on each floor. It was like a movie.

Thanks Matt, if you happened to visit KL, try this Westin hotel (not an ad though, lol) and ask for high floor rooms (28th up)....

Thanks Lori, well quite lucky I guess, LOL! At check-in time I got a low floor, facing the constructions behind the hotel, but then the expected room was not ready and then she gave me this room... a room with a view.... literally LOL!

Nice view. What a blessing to have this out your window.

Hi Nightowl!

LOL....even inside, you get a nighttime outdoor photo! :) How clever you are Sony!

You had a nice room, up high like that with a great view...how lucky can you get??

Good job,
Lori ;)

What a beautiful view. Just slightly overexposed but a great picture nonetheless.

It's indeed right!! I've never thought of that... Actually I was shooting for the room's interior when I realize that the view outside is quite interesting. It's just an experiment with overexposure. Thanks Lucian! Gosh! I think I should go back there.... lol!

the only problem with it is the fact that you cut the towers... i guess that 1 foot lower would have been enough to get the full view of the towers... all in all, a different and interesting shot! congrats!
