Thank you, Lars. I really enjoy the Sigma 180 macro. I may be wrong, but there is something about the glass on a macro lens that gives results that I find more pleasing. The 180 lets me stay far away and by the time I crop the photograph, the subject seems to be in the center of the focus; which is what I wanted it to do. Being far away from the subject gives great bokeh in the background and helps highlight the subject. It has also been a good telephoto lens for photographing my daughter's Jr. High March Band performances during half time from the stands. I also have a Tamron 90mm macro which is sometimes easier to manage in crowded conditions; I don't have to get so far away from the subject. I wish you luck in your choices and thank you for sharing your photographs with us. Guam appears to be a very interesting place. Thanks, Rodney
Debby, thank you for commenting. I enjoyed your portfolio. I'm also having a blast with the digital camera. It's almost like beginning again. Again, thank you for writing and keep taking wonderful photographs. Rodney
