Stunning. Looks like it was dipped in silver! Great detail and interesting lines.

Brilliant image Terry,
only thing (non photographic) suggestion i may have...is to lose the blue from the border..its standing out too much and conflicting with the mood of the image...may be just a one or two pixel wide white line separating the black..may work..or maybe something subdued..dunno...try a few...so that you get a border that does not take attention away from such a brilliant image...

Terry, for a slightly less contrasty negative and the finest grain you can get, I would recommend using Technidol developer. You do lose 1 stop though as the ISO goes to about 10 or 12.
This is the way I process it.
All temps @68F
2 min water presoak 6:30 developer 2 inversions every 30 seconds or 6:15 developer in a Jobo with continuous agitation
the rest normal film development procedure.
Technidol comes in little plastic pack which I dillute with 10 oz of water instead of the 8 oz. it calls out in the instructions. I use it 2 times if I do the second roll within a few hours. Otherwise I toss it out. It will not keep, and is only good for 2 rolls. Add 15 seconds to the second roll.
The grain is so tight on that film you cannot see any with the enlarging focuser so you must find a sharp edge in the image to focus on.
It is an amazing film that you can really control. Lets see some more shots you made with it.

I shot it at ISO 25, and processed it for 7 minutes with D-76 at 68 degrees. Fixed for 6.5 minutes, hypo cleared for 6.5 minutes, and washed for 5 minutes. This was my firstgo-round with tech-pan,but I really like it. Much better than TMAX in my opinion.

Lalitha, my email address is info@pwcphoto.com would be happy to tell you how I process Techpan. Have spent a lot of time in the lab calibrating the process.
Terry I was wondering how you processed it, always interested in other methods. I expose my Techpan at ISO 10-12 so it is a stop slower than you shot this at. What developer do you use etc...?

Very nice. The toning came out great too. I am glad to see someone else uses Techpan, my favorite film.
