About	i was standing in snow up to my hips on the snow covered beach to take this picture today. the things that look like rocks are actually ice chunks from the ocean that are frozen from the tides going in and out, we just had three heavy snow falls. i took this with a powershot s110,and edited with microsoft picture it. this picture is just about 100 feet down the beach down from my place.

your right i think the horizon is off, i live in a bay and look across, i wasn't sure if part of it was the land mass from the other side and the water line from my side that didnt meet. thanks for your comment.you have a great eye.

Beautiful picture Julia
Love the warm tones of the sunset, it offsets the cold of the snow.
Like the shadows cast by the ice chuncks it helps add more demension to the shot.
The horizon is slightly tilted but thats no big deal.
All in all, you have a good shot here.
