Good colors and nice deep composition.
I think if you could have the stairway fully in to the picture it would be more effective.

the light and colors are so cool. the sun is still strong but the coming night is close.
The only thing my eye bumbed into is the cut of end of the stairs.

Nice shot...I like the far and near elements of the composition. Also the lighting/shadows create a nice play. This couldn't have been too recent, as I am assuming you were covered in several feet of snow recently as was I.
