About This is one of the biggest attractions on the island of Okinawa.

This is also my first attempt at night photography. I have posted a question about night photography in the Photo Forum. I would love for anyone who has some helpful tips to let me know how to make my night photo's better. All of the Ferris Wheel Photo's are from one roll of film. Thank you! Hope you enjoy these. :)

Michael,
Thanks for the "remix". :) Also thanks for the recommendations...this photo was submitted as a JPG and the reflection was in the water right next to the building. I will most definently watch for dust more carefully when I scan. And I will try more of the options in Photoshop. I have been kind of afraid to mess with the pictures I scan too much but from what you and others have shown me that I can do with my photos as far as tweeking goes I will start looking around Photoshop more.
Thank you again ,
Cheri :)

Cheri:

The image is so much better than the preview - thanks for posting this.

Technical recommendations:
- post the image as JPG or jpeg. The quality is a bit better.

I really love this photo. The colors are amazing, and the reflection off of a car hood? is simply a wonderful way to abstract the scene.

A few hints would be to watch for dust when you scan or transfer the photo. I see little white specs in there, and some programs can allow you to go in and remove them.

the blacks in the image are not truely black. you can adjust brightness and contrast in a lot of simple free programs out there. I use Photoshop and tweaked the image for you as an example.
