Another unique view from Corcovado/Tijuca forrest's road. Gavea's Rock is another nature gift to Rio. It reminds the head of a laid person (its nose is cloudy here...) that indians who lived here centuries ago used to call the rock giant. This figure can still be seen from far away on the profile of many of Rio's mountains.
To its left is the Atlantic ocean and São Conrado beach.
glad you enjoyed the image. Well, using trees, light poles and other elements isn't exactly new but many people forget to do so. I find the results much better when there's one element "available"...
Great image the one you provided the link. I specially liked the way the brenches follow the curvature of Yosemite's magestic mountains. My only point is that maybe if you shot it later (or sooner) there'd be light on Bridevail fall. But time, unfortunatelly, is something we cannot always control when on travel ;-)
