Heh, not me this time, I haven't been able (or really attempted) to get a good shot of the moon, so it's not time for John/Kevin collaboration #2 yet.

Thanks girls. The tree is an old red maple which sits outside my kitchen door. It's the first to get its leaves in the Spring and the first to drop them in the Fall. I made this picture sitting on the bench on my side porch on Saturday night. The sky was very much this colour; it being overcast and about half an hour to 45 minutes after the sun set. The moon idea is a great one. I've seen some great posts of the moon here lately. Wish I had one of them to add in here. That's a request if anybody feels so inclined.

The Nikon Coolpix 995 is a digital camera so no film was used. I've got to say I find all the menus on these new fangled devises extremely frustrating. Damn these learning curves. Makes me look back fondly at my simple but trustworthy Canon Ftb.

Very nice John!....the rich blue color is what makes this image so powerful. Only thing missing is that moon *Smile*...what film are you using and how long after sunset did you take this?...Maggie
