I would either straighten the photo and move the tabs onto the corner of the photo or lose them all together. I'ld probably lose them in my amateur opinion. I like the text. The word "angel" kind of contrasts the pentagram on the necklace. Good job. On another subject, if you have not bought a D100 yet and money is an factor, consider a D70. Very comparable and 300 to 600 dollars cheaper depending were you get it from. Thanks, Brian

Carol, thank you for both of your recent comments. You do flatter me so! Thank you for noticing how my work is changing and commenting as such. I may do another photo with the birthday wish one, because I like it but I also think it could be great without all the extras. This one appreciates your comment about him! ~mandy

I do agree that if the borders were all the way around it would make more sense...and would stop the frame from bleeding off the screen. It would lock the eyes "into" the frame keeping it from wondering off screen....
P.S.. The Subject is Georgous!

Do you think maybe itd look better if the rest of the edges were at least outlined? The look just isnt coming together as planned. Thank you for your comment!

I agree with you, I was going for this scrapbook look. Sometimes I can envision a certain thing in my head that I like but cant always get it to turn out the way I see it.

Depends on where you intend to use the shot. As a stand alone picture I don't think they add anything but the fact that the picture is angled indicates that it might not be a stand alone shot.
