dramatic sense here with the boat at the bottom of the composition and the overpowering swirled clouds. nice exposure and tones. good job. and as for comments saying you need more below the boat, i disagree. I think it would be much more conventional in that sense, and here it is presented in a more abstract and different fashion.

Fantastic capture Marina.. the low viewingpoint on the boat reveals so much of the sky.. as the sand is not visible you give the impression the boat is flying .. wonderful contrasts .. great b&w work !!

clouds seem to follow the perspective lines of the boat; of a corner; a two point perspective up in the sky as well on earth; which is missing here; I like it still

the image is cropped this way because of the scaffoldings underneath the boat. i didn't want anything to connect it to the ground.

Nice shot Marina, but I think it needs more of the image below the boat. For me it somehow seems incomplete? I like the low viewpoint though and that sky is fabulous!

Newport!!! One of my favorite places to visit!! My wife grew up there....what a playground for photographers.
