Thanks for your comments James,I'm not altogether happy with the image in it's uploaded form;the duplicate jpeg.copy from a raw file was a much more vibrant image which seems to have got slightly lost in cyberspace.As for the Pentax *istD,yes,I am very happy with it.It's light,exposes perfectly and the colours are really natural.Regards,Tony.

The flower is a wonderful shape and colour, it almost doesn't look like a flower....very creative angle and the soft lighting picks the texture up in the petals beautifully.
How is the Pentax *ist D are you happy with it?

The lighting you have here, and the vivid pink of the flower against such a dark bakground, make this a very effective and eye catching piece of work. Well done.
