Excellent portrait shot! Love the dark & light tones it makes strong contrast. So dramatic feeling, nice pose and gives me sad feeling. I love it. Old model's visage so talkative. Very, very nice work dear aLi! :) Congrats! 7+++
My best regards!

Well done portrait. you caught a complex epxression of a wise, but also sly and good-humored fellow. no wonder everybody is trying to tweak on it. here is my 2 cents, respectfully submitted.

So much character in that face. It is good that you can learn from the comments of the others. I too have learned much here at usefilm. I think your B+W work shows much potential. You seem to make your subjects at ease, and that is very important.

Very nice capture of this gent, I like the almost BW warm tone for this composition. I'm kind of thinking that bottom edge ends at an ackward place and maybe should be cropped halfway to his knees, but that's just a thought.

Great shot it is. If possible take and post a very closeup of theat man's face. That would be excellent.

Great character in this image. Often when one foot is inadvertently cut off in my framing, I will choose to crop higher up. This would enhance the man's amazing face as the focal point, and prevent the eye from being distracted by the missing foot.

Nice potrait Ali, may be you can try cropping out the legs as shadows are too mixed up. Here's my attempt, hope you dont mind :)

Cool man ;-)
Good darkroom work. Maybe you could lighten some of the darkest shadows below the man's face.

Friendly greetings from Germany
