Thanks Christy! I had my light in the wrong place, I've learned later. But I agree, I think I like the shadow here, it almost gives it some dimension. I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks Kay. I didn't have the room for her to stand out any farther. I was working in tight space, poor lighting conditions. If I moved her away, the shadow got bigger. I've learned now, I needed to move the light somewhere else . . . hindsight! But luckily, it was just for fun, not a paid gig. Just trying to get the hang of my new D70. And, I like the shadow, I think it added a cool dimension to it.

normally shadows distract me, but this looks almost intentional, I think it adds to the image in this case...such a pretty girl...looks like an ad or something for teen cosmetics!

Well done! The shadow is a LITTLE distracting- not a major thing to me. Another nice pose with good lighting and skin tones. You should have the model stand about 4 feet in front of the backdrop to avoid the shadow.
