I read all the other comments to see if there was anything that hadn't already been said. I must say I like the precise instant at which you captured the man's walk. It's almost as if he is still moving... tremendous sense of a natural walk frozen for a second. I think it's the drape of the raincoat and the off-balance hump that shows his behind. The composition (the lines of chairs and white posts!) is really perfect. You are the Maestro! I can't imagine why the average rating isn't higher... because I can't imaging how it might have been improved.

Very interesting street photo,
From the thumbnail it seems a B&W with a painted umbrella, but looking closer it shows all the power of a coloured subject in a "pastello" picture.

Wow - can't ask for more than that, now can ya? Love the way the colour of the umbrella stands off the scene due to it's sheer vibrance... at first you expect the rest of the image to be B&W but upon the realization that it isn't the colour of purple seems even more remarkable. The wet pavement is awesome, the line of the benches draw you to your focus, and the darkness at the top of the frame helps this as well. I suspect you used an ND grad filter there? Nice stuff.

Superb image.
