About The Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero side with the gilded bronze statues in the central square of the Palais de Chaillot (on the Musee de la Marine and Musse de l'Homme side). One of the most beautiful cities in the world and in Europe (along with Venice, Lisbon, and Prague - in my opinion) One can never run out of things to shoot in Paris. Scanned of a 4 x 6 print. PS used slightly.

There you go Ashley, Michael pretty much explained it. You have to understand that the Eiffel tower is GIGANTIC so it's probably a kilometer (or more than 1/2 a mile) from this spot. There's a lot of haze, dust, etc. in the air for the lens to cut through + I think I took this in summer when the smog/haze level is higher. How's that for a complete answer? Markiesan

Great shot. Not often seen from this view.. I believe atomospheric perspective would make it dull as its farther away and starts to dull things out becaue of the dust and all that stuff in the air.

Gorgeous, no? The Eiffel Tower seems a bit dull compared to the bronze, though.

nice lighting, and good composition, Mark.
That's one city I've yet to enjoy, but it's on my list.
