Same experiment with Kodak's Elite Chrome - cross processing plus 2 stops pushing - at a friend's place near São Paulo.
To my surprize grain was very well controlled, not getting too intrusive. This image was shot on a cloudy moment of the day. It came up with this blue cast I find very moody.
The fact he's alone with many balls drawing a semi-circle contrasting with the lines from the goal and the trees takes the eyes for a nice trip on the image's lines. Comments welcome.
actually it's just normal slide film cross processed. Instead of developing it through its normal process - E6 -, it was developed using negative film process - C41. The result is more saturated colors and higher contrast.
On this session I also pushed it by 2 stops to increase contrast further. Instead of shooting it at its normal ASA - 100 - I shot at 400 ASA and asked the processing guys to compensate for that during development. Higher times are required, pro developing houses have tables for each film.
