Thank you Emy. Actually all these were shot in her bedroom. I pinned a black backdrop on her wall and draped it across her bed. The bedroom was very small so it was difficult to work there with the light stands but it was very challenging.

That big toe is showing some emotion within her. Maybe nervousness...maybe the concern of impatience to finish the shot. Whatever the case she stayed put and gave you some wonderful facial expressions.

Hey Jeff,
I think that this portrait has such a different feel to it than a lot of your other work. This is a good thing! Wow, there is such depth to this and great mood, too. INCREDIBLE!!! Sid P.S. (Does the difference in mood have to do with you traveling to her location for the shoot)?

Very nice. I like the way her skin tones gracefully trail through the very black, black. Cool shot.

Jeff, I love this! The way the darkness of the clothing is in between the skin color and the dark background-it really pops out, along with the embroidered design on the pants. My first thought for some reason was-gypsy. Upon closer inspection, I think that a bit more of the hand on the right side could show-it appears a bit deformed. Otherwise, an excellent portrait~
