Good job! The monochrome palette is striking, as is the composition. You got just the right combination of symetry and variation. The only thing I would have done differently is to make the vanishing point a bit higher in the frame. How many times have we all gone up an escalator or stairway and never seen this? Too many. Good eye. I'll be looking for stairwells for a while, you can bet.
