GG, what you did looks really good! I had originally converted the image to B&W, but when I saw the "magical" sparkles the glistening water created after the soft focus was added I wanted to give it a tone for sort of a mystical feel. And yes, you are right, the "glitter" was just the reflection of the light in the water. I only added the soft focus which created halos around it. Thanks so much for your comments )

OK, I had to come back. I totally disagree with Radoslaw's post about the sparkles, they are perfect. From what I can tell, the sparkles are just light reflecting from the bath water. Melanie, if you don't mind, I did a repost of your work. I took out the tone and made it b/w and added more contrast. The border was added by selectively contrasting the center of the image. Hope you like!
