Nice landscape, Gary. I'm not sure if you used any filters (looks like a filter holder is creeping into shot on the top right) but a polariser may help cut some of the haze.
The wife and I spent our honeymoon in NZ, and to celebrate our 10th anniversary we want to go back, this time with the kids.
I will also try to convince her to let me take the camera :)

Fred, thanks for your comments ; this is on the West Coast in the Auckland area. I was born and lived in the South Island for 30years; (before I had any real interest in photography). I now live in Washington State and get back to New Zealand only every 2 years or so. My next trip will be back to the South Island and my camera gear will be close at hand.

This shot does remind me of our California coastline. New Zealand would be a great place to photograph some landscape. Excellent capture and image.
