After reading many of your comments on other's photos, I decided to take a look at your portfolio.
My GOODNESS! you should have taken up photography a bit sooner, eh? What a LOVELY "eye" you have (And what a beautiful part of the world to share with us!)
I have always been drawn to the "old and the lonely", "rustic". This boat is just that!
Well, I need to go check out some more of your shots....great sky views/shore shots, etc....
(Oh, and congratulations a bit belatedly on "picture of the day!" GOOD show!)

Old boats are such fun subjects!!! I have a bit of a fascination with them too! This is lovely Mark - good colours, detail and great composition (I have a very similar one myself!). Looks as though you are getting to grips with the 350... I'm just debating getting a D70! Well taken Mark...
