This looks very much so like a picture that Jeffrey Smart would paint, especially when viewing the thumbnail. You really excelled with this capture. Everything works with this one.
Fantastic work.

It is clear to see how this one was voted our No1...and my No1 too!! I just loved the crispness of it and how the balloons are softly floating contracted against the strong lines of the bridge. Well Done Neil!!

Thought I recognised this shot, Neil. The colours and sharpness are wonderful, and the printed versions showed it superbly. Cheers Kiny (fellow MDCC member)

Wow! I like the place you chose to take this picture. Right smack in the middle to capture a beautiful image. I really like the framing of this picture. Kudos!

what PERFECT framing of this event by massive structures. What a great contrast to the small balloons, and what a wonderful device to lead the eye right into center. WELL done.

Great shot Neil. The whole composition is balanced right down to Parlaiment House in the distance.

I love how the bridge is a frame within a frame, using it to display those balloons. The warm light has really brought the colours out on both the stonework and those richly painted balloons. I really like this shot.

Thanks
