A great eye for detail - you've come up with a great abstract here. It is wonderfully sharp and has a very subtle range of tones.

Fantastically clear detail shot of the return crank Ade. Most of the numbers stamped on the connecting rod would be to do with manufacturing details but the number top right is that of the loco - 92220 in this case - so that when the engine was in works for major overhauls etc the pieces were identifiable. All components would have this no. on it somewhere.
