super relaxed and unself concious. it is useful to think about the finer points such as focus... timing outstanding here. great moment.

This is special for the ordinary moment it records, and the far-off look in her eyes. What is she thinking. These captured moments are closer to our hearts years later than many other types. Antonia

Hello Dirck - her hair is going from strawberry blond to more of a brown with red highlights... Thanks for your observations!

Sweet portrait, Stefan - she has that far, far away look in her eyes! It feels just a little hot on her forehead and cheeks, maybe because of the strong contrast with the background. Is her hair getting darker as she grows?

Thanks - I think you are right about what counts in the photo, but I also find those little details interesting. Not that there is a definite answer or anything...

Come one Stefan. This eye that eye. What counts is the mood. Like it a lot!

Hello Hugo - just a quite moment, but I can see where your guess came from :-)

Hi Stefan, Early morning shot? taken with the sleep still in your (and your daughters' ) eye? Maybe not the best solution photographically, but with the still somewhat dreamy and sleepy look in her eyes, it fits well with that early morning view....

Maybe my analysis is completely oiff, but then you did a really good job in making me interpret this image freely, allowing me to create my own setting and feel around it. Isn't that what photography is about? I wouldn't worry about the focus point in this case....:)

Cheers,

Hugo
