Peter - thank you for sharing - I see what you mean about your dogs getting lost if your yard got out of control. Jan

So fun! I like the effect the smudge tool gives surrounding the flowers!

Everything seems to get neglected here when I get excited about a new photo! ;) For some beautiful PS work -- check out Marete Westerdahl's portfolio. She primarily isolates images and adds lighting and textures.

Thanks Evelyn - Haven't decided what to try today. Think Mary Brown is going to try and find some time to play with PS - Do you think we should tell her how over-rated housework is? More gals should discover how a little dust in one's home is necessary in order to explore our creative side. :-)

Yes -- it is a lovely grouping of daisies and your detail is sharp -- well worth the extra effort of artistic manipulations. Keep playing and we will look forward to more fun pics!

Evelyn - Haven't found the convex distortion feature, so I have attached the picture I used the smudge on. As you can see, the leaves on the bottom are withered away - but I liked the grouping and the flowers were nice - so decided to see what I could do with a picture that I thought was too good to delete, but not really up to the quality of pictures posted on this site.

Mary - You go girl! As I told Evelyn on another comment - who needs to do housework? Dust - what dust?

Jen - Photoshop is sure fun to play around with and you can spend hours learing to do different things.

Isn't it FUN to play? You can burn many hours at this!! Looks like you used the convex distortion as well but perhaps it was just the shape of the arrangement. I like what you did here. It is effective in giving a rather annimated fish-eye view. Terrific!

Thanks for your comment - just learning some of the powerful things that PS can do. Have to tell you that I just went through only part of your portfolio and I really like. I can tell that you must have a great sense of humor and know alot about photography and PS. For sure will be back to visit your portfolio and continue looking. Jan
