Thanks Hugo. You're right that the side lighting works a lot better. These geese are part of a huge flock that was wintering at Bosque, and it was easy to wait for good light before shooting. Stay tuned for more tomorrow.

Hi James, maybe the same setup, but with this side lighting, there's much more to it; the golden rims of the wings as well as the seemingly translucent wings make this image tick. Cheers, hugo
