Hi Mark,
Intresting textures and colours. The bridge and Castle make interesting subjects. The horizon splitting the frame into two is a little bit static though. Moving the lens down slightly to loose some sky and include a bit more foreground would improve the dynamic of the composition.
I love these type of subjects because you can go back again and agin in different light and try different compositions.
My old boat shed you kindly commented on always gets a few frames when ever I go past.
Regards John

Hey Marky... this is a great shot contrasting two very different architectural periods! I guess the castle dates back to 16xx-17xx and the bridge looks very Victorian... Those victorians sure knew how to build stuff though eh? All those years and it is still in use and operating way beyond the original design spec (no high speed or tilting trains in those days!). Great how the Victorians chose interesting routes for their railways too, almost to maximise the scenery for the passengers... It would have been so easy for them to go further away from the castle or even right through it! Excellent shot with great detail and colours. The viewpoint is superb as is the composition. The primary elements of the picture fit well with the 'rule of thirds' and the detail of the fore to middle ground is excellent, tailing into a slight haziness towards the background. Excellent shot!!! (Where was it?)

Great image!... But I would have cropped it off the top portion of this image... make it like a wide screen picture... It would be more dramatic/cinematic view.
congrats, tamas
