I have my 20D set to srgb. I thought that was default. I only wish you can see the Owl photos I printed. up to 11x17 and they are perfect.

I mostly use the regular utility to adjust the white balance (if need be) and to convert to TIFF where I work on it in photoshop 7 later.

However, I recently was asked to shoot a bridal shower for a coworker and since there were so many 'snapshots', I used the Digital Photo Pro from Canon to batch process. I hear there's better stuff out there, but even if I could afford it, I still think that the RAW converted is so much better than the JPGs come out.

But on top of all that, I just heard about shooting sRGB versus Adobe RGB and I'm thinking of switching and see if that helps the jpgs any.

DO you use the plugin for PS to work on your shots or do you use the stuff that came with the 20D ? If so what programs ??

Start shooting RAW, guy! Seriously! Your shots are so good now, you'll be amazed at what RAW comes up with. I've even stopped shooting RAW+smJPG and haven't missed it in the least.

I sure do hope David and I get to go on this extensive ride this August. If we do, Split Rock was a must!

I am still shooting Jpeg. If you do come around the lake get a pass for the Mn parks and I'll tell you how to get to this point. a sort walk from your "ride" on graded trails. there is camping there as well. Once there, you won't want to leave, it is beautiful.
PS haven't forgotten your picture !! Your last email in on my laptop and I am at work now.

Fantastic!

One of the most photographed lighthouses in the US (apart from probably Heceta Head and Portland Head), but you've managed to make it fresh and new. Nice job.

Are you shooting RAW, JPG or both?
