About I took this shot a last week. I thought that BG was too busy and would distract the eye from the subject matter, so I enhanced it all with the help of photoshop. Please let me know what you think

Thanks Ken,

I appreciate you help, but I still prefer my original outcome. Im aware of the tools used to blur backgrounds, I like the way that the texture came through in the end and by reading some of the comments, others do too.

Thanks

Regards,

Joe

Joe , I think by using the photoshop it appeared like a paint more then a photo , i prefer to keep the original photo as it is , which is think is very nice ,

Joe,

Beautiufl image.

Agree - the BG is distracting.

I used another technique -

I blurred the background with gaussian blur - Radius 3 pixels.

Its another way of getting DOF very close to the subject.

Hope it helps.

regards,
ken.
