That 100mm will open up a whole new world for you. It is amazing how one single blossom can offer an amazing number of potential shots when you have a macro-eye view.
This one reminds me of a Japanese painting, and come to think of it, so did the first post of the geranium. Perhaps it is the soft greens and pinks, or the framing, but both images have a spare and delicate feel. I really like what you have done.
