Hi Jason, thanks for the comment. I think we've done this before maybe on another website!;)
I like your perspective in this one showing the enormous length of this West Aussie icon.:)

thanks James a bronica is a medium format film camera, the negative measures approx 60mm x 45mm in this camera so just a little bit bigger than a regular 35mm film which is 35x24mm

Jason: I've always loved MF cameras and had a few in my time. They're all gone now. This is a lovely image with beautiful colors and composition.

Hey Judi, photoglow is something i saw at photo imaging 2003 here in Sydney, basically its a thin fluro bouncing off a screen to illuminate your photo through a translucent film, well thats my take on it. not cheap but wow does it may photos stand out the only place i've found it and he was the one showing it was Darran Lea of wild visions heres the website
http://www.wildvisions.com.au/PhotoGlow/PhotoGlow.htm

photo image is up in brisbane this year in two weeks if you are able to go its well worth it

Very good colours. The only improvement I feel it needs is an adjustment in the contrast area. Aside from that.....great!!

Thankyou so much Jason for your wonderful comment on my image.

Judi

P.S. I am not familiar with Photoglow...can you tell me more please.

The medium format cameras are so nice because you can make such large prints from them as compared to 35mm or digitals. Digital cameras are great since they are inexpensive to shoot, but can not compare to these type of cameras. My oldest brother has a medium format camera and loves it. I don't think you will be disappointed with you camera especially with this being your first shot.
Excellent colors and composition. Comgratulations for a great photo with your new camera. 7++
