Jim, thanks for your comments.Sorry foo late reactie.In this small canals can you with little boats.They are also for irrigatie.The most canals in the netherlands are for Boats and for irrigatie but also for transport(boezum) from water to the sea. Netherland is an country what is for 45% down the sea Level. Our country have dunes and banks , Also banks along the rivers.
You can say the Netherlands is an big delta.
For ever was water turn out over the banks by Windmills, now most by Pump .
The canals are also for clean up the water by irrigation on the top (water com from mountains in Europ)and stream down to the pumps and mills

Nice composition Teunis, again te canals are so nice, such a slow and easy way to travel. can boats go in these canals or are they for irrigation ??

Mooie compositie. Het lijkt me daar erg sfeervol en zeer rustig. De mensen geven de foto iets meer. De reflectie is zoals gewoonlijk weer uitstekend gezien. Prima gedaan.
