Location City -  Loveland Pass, way out on the Ridge
State -  COLORADO
Country - United States   United States
About the clouds rolling through the valley that day created such a wonderful look on the snow, little pockets of light would shine through and illuminate wonderful parts of the peaks... just to the right of the cornace that is hanging over, dead center of the image is me, making some very fast turns as i decend this massive ridge line called Loveland Pass, well worth the hike that day, thanks herman for the amazing images of me blazing down this slope and leaving behind a large rooster tail!!!!!

A large wall photo one would be able to make you out better. But if that were the subject, you'd really have to crop. What's odd is that the snow is made to look like a big slab of ice. I like the color and shading, as well. Compositionally, the only thing is that it violates the rule for horizontal display. It's just suggested by many that leading the eye in on an angle is often better. Don't know if you agree. There something I like about it, as is, though. Maybe it's just the snow as ice, I don't know.
