About Little green heron taken at Lake Martin this morning, he'd call his "girl" and she's come meet him, then he'd run her off then do the same thing
again! I felt like I was intruding on their privacy, but I don't think they even noticed me!

Such a great collection of wildlife! I think my next trip to Louisina will be outside of New Orleans! This is so beautiful, I've never seen a green heron before-- wonderful dof and I love the pose you've captured, Darlene. Thanks for introducing me to all of these wonderful birds!
