About I wish I hadn't cut off the paw, but I had to do it to exclude the other puppy that was trying to enter the image. I wanted more of a lonely, alone look and I think another happy puppy face in the shot might have not worked as well. *grin*

It's cropped wonderfully, Kim. You've captured this lovable rascal, in full flow! This had my friend in aaawwww! overload ( as all your puppy images!).

Superb detail and emotion here! All paws and triangular eyes.

Hi Manuel,
I used mostly Velvia fim (ISO 50 or 100) which is known for it's colour saturation and fine grain. And I have just started borrowing the film scanner from my photo club which gets the detail and sharpness, but tends to scan with a blue tint, so I have to colour correct in Photoshop.
Thanks for the comment, and I look forward to checking out some of your work!

Ohhh! cute puppy! I use a Nikon F55 and it's not been long now so i'm still learning on it. I see the colors are very natural in your pictures, and some are amazingly colorful. Is it the film you're using Kim? or maybe you have a nice scanner as well! Congrats on this great shot.
ps i think it's good you cut the paw so not to include another puppy.
regards

Manuel
