About When I looked in my field guide and realized I had my face inches away from a black widow, I couldn't believe it. But this is what the little guys look like. I wonder if I will get an oppotunity to catch one when they grow up and have that famous red hourglass and gloss black body on them.

I had the opportunity to kill one - it was in my cupboard in the garage when the cable guy was here (and I had to clear out where the cable comes in)! A little un-nerving since my kids play in there too.
