Very nice composition. I like the most the effect of the curves and line resulting from the tree and the ground. Eli:-))

Such a dramatic shot! Has a real power to it with the resiliant tree resisting the steep incline... Something universal about this one. Great work Chrissie!

great shot! looks like a very crooked hill. haha I think it's funny how some people don't understand the vignetting... but that's how it's supposed to be! :) Ann

did you try converting the image to b&w? I like the angle of the camera, gives the image a nice perspective.... nice holga image...

Hi Thilo, I really like the nice creamy sort of effect that you get from that lens. It seems to work in B&W or colour. This view plays games with your head. You just want to tilt your head to the side to compensate for that horizon. This is one of those "take the viewer out of the comfort zone images" that you do so well. Andre

Hi Mark,
everything you see from vignetting to lens effects is true Holga, no PS =)
I just enhanced that effect a tad.

Hi Ali,
thx a lot for the feedback. No, I didn't mean anything by the edges, they are there ;-)
This is Holga. Weird vignetting, weird plastic lens effects on sharpness and blur. So I wouldn't change that.
best wishes,
thilo

What a wonderfully poetic image! The Holga is a wonderful tool if one has this kind of vision with which to apply it. Keep 'em coming! Cheers, --George

Haha, that's funny what Ali Chehade said about the black corners. In some parts, the Holga is still unknown. I don't know where the lens effects end and the PS starts. I like how the eyes reference off of the tree, and disregards the incline. But once the eyes are off the tree, the incline becomes apparent.

You have very nice composition and colors, but what is really REALLY distracting are the black corners .. I dunno if you mean anything by using them ..
