Hi Mary,
I clearly prefer this beach photo vs the one before. It really evokes nice beach souvenirs and even nostalgia (I guess this last comment is quite personnal).
The superposition of the two photos works well here. The composition is good, with the eye moving naturally from one main subject to the other, from left to right, following a diagonal from left down corner to right upper corner.
I wish the noise in the image was lower.It's probably due to your scanner.Try passing your niosy pictures through noise reduction software like Noise Ninja for example (this one is not free, but maybe you can find free ones on the net)
Anyway, nice shot !
