For me the contrast works really well with this subject, the dogs stand out in an almost 3D way, and added to the claustrophobic effect of the narrow space they look a bit menacing. If they decide to pounce where are you going to go! Good animal shot which goes beyond a snapshot.

What a distinguished couple! The image comes off a bit hard and high-key on my screen - perhaps a slight flattening of curves? Take the wall down and bring detail on their bellies up a bit. It's a great portrait with lots of potential, I believe.
