It needs a fantastic capture like this Chris to show the beauty of the area cos words can never do it justice. Beautiful shot!! I've only been there once and the fair was on. Couldn't believe so many people could gather in such a small village.

My father used to sing that to me when I was a little boy... it was a favourite! But I can't remember ever having been there. I like the rim of distant hills and sky along the top. A natural "frame." The play of light and shadow is typical of England, and very well rendered. I might have brought the black level up a bit to make the shadows denser... but that's me!

I'll say... more than just beautiful... ab fab landscape!! Great view, wonderful colors and excellent composition... well captured!! This says 'British' with every hedgerow and what a pretty little town in the foreground... I definitely have to 'come over' again soon....real soon... ;-D!!
