About More from the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival. This is Jimbo Mathus of Jimbo Mathus and Knockdown South from Clarksdale, Mississippi. All blues fans should know the significance of that and for those who don't: It is the location of the crossroads where Robert Johnson sold his soul to the devil so he could be a better guitar player. It is also the home of Muddy Waters.

Greg, I would like to see him again, really enjoyed his music. You are right, he rocks! I finally posted a shot, but have many more to post when I have time. Especially a great on of Buddy Guy. Thanks for the nudge to post. Dave

Greg, Thanks for taking the time to view and comment on my efforts. It is really appreciated.
My father grew up in Vicksburg. His family settled there after spending time in a refugee camp in Vicksburg during the flood of '27. Todays images of Louisianna are so reminiscent of his stories. How far are you from
Vicksburg?

Bjorn, Thanks for the suggestions. I agree and wish I had a better capture that included his hands. Unfortunately I was taking pictures from the "cheap seats" and ended up in front of the woofers and I think that the vibrations affected the shots and caused a lot of camera shake.

I love the good use of dof, and the way you captured his expression, which is very good. Being a guitarplayer, I know that his expression has to do with his playing, but that is not really obvious from your picture. Try including his hands next time, especially when they are this close to eachother.
