What a way to start! I took some of my best IR photos on my first day out also. Unfortunately, didn't use the full 5 mPx. Now I only shoot with the max. Never know when that exceptional shot shows up.

Thanks ya'll...Mary, I dont know what focal distance is, so I dont think I did anything with that..lol..I had just gotten home from the camera store (12:30) and sat down on my back stoop, pointed the camera at my barn and shot. Really I was just testing to see what the results would look like..I did however set the camera to BW mode...tomorrow I'm going to try a couple in color, see what that looks like..thanks again :-)

SO COOOL!!! This is fantastic. I gotta get one of these. Amazement aside, this is a nice, very sharp, image. Did you set it up (in terms of focal distance, framing, etc.) before sundown, or can you do all that through the IR filter? Really great, Beverly. Nice framing, too.
