Armando, Yes, I know about the word Shalom, and I think this place was wisely named, it is out in the country in Virginia. It was a short retreat, only one night & most of the next day, but it gave me a spiritual shot in the arm. Just what I needed. Tonight I leave for San DIego, my younger son will graduate Marine Corps Boot Camp. Very exciting, I can hardly wait to see him. :) I will miss all of my friends too! But I'll take lots of nice photos for you all! :) Dottie

Dear Dotty. I saw your two pics and I have to say that both are wonderful and this one have an incredible natural frame.
Shalom means pease in Hebrew, and this place looks very peaseful, maybe for that reasson have this name.
PD: where you go?? I will miss you :(
